Enhancement Request | Cloud Render Improvements

I’m frequently getting stuck in the cloud rendering queue. Windows 11 and MacOS 15.7.1 (so not Tahoe). Gigapixel 1.0.2.

Here are some of the issues:

  1. There is no way to clear or delete the queue. I even uninstalled Topaz and reinstalled it clean, but it’s associated with the account, so it keeps going even if you don’t want it to.

  2. It gets stuck a lot and then you can’t put any new files in the queue. With no way to delete it, other than to attempt to cancel each file one-at-a-time, which never works when there are hundreds in there, you have to wait seven days for it to clear itself (I think). There needs to be a better way to manage—and delete—these files.

  3. The queue is also designed in a way that you can’t always see enough of the file name to determine which files you want to do something with. No matter how big your screen is. This is in MacOS.

  4. When the queue does work, it randomly doesn’t process some files. Sometimes, some of them can be downloaded manually, but some cannot and have to be sent back into the queue. They work the second or third time, so it’s presumably not an issue with the files. It’s hard to tell.

  5. Sometimes the queue files from the same batch download with the settings in the filename, sometimes they don’t. Seems to be random.

  6. On MacOS, you cannot look at the cloud queue if you don’t have a file in the list, there’s no menu option to open it. You just have to throw a random file in there to be able to click on it.

  7. At least you can add files to the queue while it’s working. Would be great to be able to add files to local rendering without having to stop the local queue, add the files, then start the queue again. That works, but if you’re not clearing files from the list after rendering, it becomes hard to manage.

  8. Basically it just needs better file management. UI fixes.

  9. Can’t figure out how to create presets. Droplets would be great too.

  10. My Windows 11 computer (also running 1.0.2) doesn’t allow the queue button to be pressed, even though the MacOS one does.

I am having the same issues. The inability to clear a ‘stalled’ cloud render makes the application unreliable meaning I cannot recommend it be part of my design studio’s workflow.
