I have version 3.1.3
Over the last couple couple of days brushing selections (adding or subtracting) the brush moves inconsistently, slowly and makes editing selections with the brush almost unusable. This has been running fine for over a year. All other programs are running absolutely fine including but not limited to Photoshop, Lightroom, Luminar NEO, DXO etc.

ββ Thanks for the file. It does, unfortunately, show that this computer does not meet the minimum requirements for Photo AI, as it has 2 graphic cards that are both under the Photo AI minimum to have 6GB of VRAM. The Intel card has 0.1GB of VRAM and the NVIDIA one, 4GB. This means that while itβs under requirements for any versions of Photo AI, it will become more and more apparent with time as we optimize the app on every version and release new features.
Here if a few things you can test:
-
Update the NVIDIA driver, its 3 months behind: GeForce Driver Results | NVIDIA - then reboot the computer.
-
You can Force Photo AI to not use your graphic cards until you get a card that has 6GB or a new computer. To do this, open Photo AI, go to Edit > Preferences > General > AI Processor and put CPU. Then save and edit a file.
-
You can also go back on a prior version, all versions are here: Releases. The download link will be at the top of each pages. ββ
I did receive the message from support. Iβve gone back to a previous version. Drivers for my video card have been updated. In all honesty I find it disappointing when I need to upgrade my PC components or replace my entire computer on top of what I have already paid and then an annual renewal for updates at another 200$. I will likely just run DXO and my other programs for sharpening etc. which all run fine with my current computer and hardware. Thanks for your time.
