Education | Where To Find The Healing Brush Tool

I just downloaded the trial version of Photo AI. The video makes reference to a brush tool for (in my case) selecting objects to remove. However, I cannot find the brush tool anywhere in your interface, though admittedly I am a Topaz newbie.

It will be in the Dust and Scratch enhancement! Once the Dust and Scratch process done, it will be in the second stage of that tool, in the Healing brush stage!

Hi.

A couple of things I’d like to pick up on, you mentioned firstly, The Healing Brush and secondly, Remove Objects

I’m going to give two answers for this because, if you’re referring the Welcome Videos that appear when you open Photo AI then in the first video “Introducing Photo AI 4” it mentions the new Dust & Scratches Enhancement and removing and repairing further damage with a The Healing Brush.

However, in the following video “Introducing Photo AI” Remove Objects is mentioned which although similar in operation is actually a different Enhancement and as you referred to the Healing Brush and Remove Objects in the same vain as performing the same task you can see the confusion

The Healing Brush
As Ange described, The Healing Brush is used in conjunction with the Dust & Scratches Enhancement and is available after the image has been processed.

Remove or as it’s more commonly known as Remove Object
Remove is easy accessable from the list of Enhancements. Once you open an image in Photo AI and the image has been analyzed simply, Click on Choose Something Else a list will appear and Remove will be the third option within that list.

Here’s more information from Topaz about both Enhancements

Hope this helps
