Education | What happens after the end of a subscription/if it's canceled

When the subscription model changed, I signed up as a “founding customer” for Topaz Studio. Since then, I really haven’t used it much. Recently I received the e-mail about “4x faster” and decided to download the latest versions and try them. I don’t foresee using the photo tools based on the results. I will probably occasionally use the video processing.

I’m not sure I see a point in continuing an expensive subscription that I am using so little of, but I’m concerned that when my subscription ends I will only be left with the Topaz Video AI version released before September 2025. Is that basically what will happen? Was my “founder” subscription a complete waste of money? Or do you get to use the new version after the end of the subscription?

You understand the situation correctly. Access to the newer versions ends when your subscription ends. You will then have to reinstall the last Legacy AI version you were paid up for before the switch.
