Currently, Macs with AMD Radeon GPUs are not supported for the Super Focus enhancement in Photo AI due to the memory-intensive nature of the feature. Our development team is actively looking into the feasibility of supporting additional GPUs, including those from AMD, but we’ve found that AMD Radeon GPUs and certain Intel processors can struggle with AI processing tasks like Super Focus.
In v3.3.1 , we locked access to Super Focus for machines with this type of configuration as they were not performing well.
If you’d like to continue using the Super Focus enhancement, revert to v3.3.0 , where this feature is still accessible. However, it may result in slower performance and potential processing errors. Here’s the link to download Photo AI v3.3.0 :
Additionally, we’re excited to announce that Cloud Credits will be introduced in the near future to allow processing on machines like yours that may not meet the hardware requirements for Super Focus . This will provide an alternative way to utilize AI processing through the cloud, even on systems with unsupported GPUs.

Even if it is slow it still works. I understand that it will take a long time to render so I have it render over night or when I will not be using my computer for several hours. By restricting it to 3.30 I can not upgrade to newer version and am stuck at 3.30 even though I renewed my subscription in November. I think we should have the option of using the function even if it is really slow then I can enjoy the latest version of the software.

I have the same problem. Is there a solution to fix this?
@tatali9213 and @esther1964 - as mentionned on the Super Focus and System requirements, your Intel Mac AMD card cannot support stable diffusion models and is not supported for this tool. There is nothing do to for this, Intel Macs altogether are underpowered for AI processing and these new models go over what this card can handle. Since Apple does not update these machines anymore, there is nothing to do. You can use every other tool, and when you get a Mchip machine, you can use Super Focus.
If you look at John’s message in yellow on this thread, you will see a workaround, v3.3.0, on which Super Focus was not locked, as it was the first launch, but too many issues occurred on Intel Macs and it was locked on versions after this and confirmed as not supported. We will also launch the cloud in the near future, which can use purchased credits for underpowered machines like the Intel Macs, to process on the cloud.
