Please can we have the option to save as jpg. jpeg confuses my image viewing software.
This has been requested several times and nothing has been done so far.
Your best bet is to rename it yourself. On a Mac you could write a script to automate the process on import—probably on a PC too.
If you use a jpg file you can use the Preserve input format option in the Export window.
