Education | Masking In Lightroom Classic Before Photo AI Edits

When I edit from LRC to Photo AI and then return it back to LRC (Export to LRC) the image shows a shifted image behind. This only happens when I chose TIFF. If I select JPG as the output format, the ghosting is not present. Looked around a bit but can’t find anything about it. See the image below… what do you all think is happening?

Hello,

This is most likely because there was masking done ahead of editing in Photo AI, and since Photo AI applies a lens correction, it will not match your original image. You can either wait once the file is back from Photo AI to do any mask edits, or turn off lens correction in Photo AI in Edit > Preferences > General > Lens correction in the standalone, then retest!
