how to uninstall photo ai including all photoshop etc. filter plugins?
Can I help you with any troubleshooting to tackle any conflicts that made you want to uninstall Photo AI in the first place?
If not, you can go to the Finder app if you’re on a Mac then to the Applications folder. From there, right-click on Photo AI and “move to trash.” If you’re on Windows, go to Add/Remove programs and uninstall Topaz Photo AI. Delete the registry files for Topaz Photo AI using instructions here.
On my Mac when I move Topaz to the trash it leaves the plugin labels
Why don’t you have uninstall on all your software?
I had a lot of trouble with Gigapixel.
You should please note that those instructions are for WINDOWS ONLY. I’ll keep Googling until I find the Mac instructions.
Tim, how to remove registry entries on a Mac? MacOS Sequoia.
Thanks for help.
There is no such thing as registry entries on a Mac. Use the free app called AppCleaner to delete the app itself plus any files and folders that are in your Library.
You can double-check everything has gone by looking for anything with “Topaz” in its name in Application Support and Preferences and then delete it manually.
I don’t use PS so don’t know where the plugins are stored on the Mac. Again, searching your Library should find them if AppCleaner hasn’t uninstalled them.
