# Education | How to Fully Remove Photo AI off Mac

HI, I already upgraded to the new “Topaz Photo” and need to remove “Photo AI” off my Mac. What is the best way to do so that fully removes the app, preferences, plugins, models, etc.?

Here is steps to uninstall Photo AI:

1. Close all apps and programs
2. In FInder \> Applications, Locate the Photo AI app
3. Put the app in the Trash.
4. Empty Trash
5. Then [delete your plist files](https://support.topazlabs.com/article/52-how-to-delete-your-plist-file-on-mac) - this should be about 2-4 PLIST files to delete.
6. Reboot your computer.
