To gather logs, please select Help > Logging > Get Logs for Support and attach the zip file to your reply.
Also, there have been several updates over the past year for Video AI, which included several model variants and patch fixes. The devs release new models once they are trained by the research team. There is no guarantee of new models being introduced into the app on a regular interval though.

If the in-app updater is not working for you though, you can always download a clean installer for the version or app you are trying to update to and let it run that way. This bypasses the in-app updater and should not run into that issue for you.
