Its great having the slider so you can compare the original to the new. However I would find it even more useful if you had a slider that compared previous edit to new, so its easy to compare different adjustments. Im trying to decide on different lighting levels after other edits, and it hard to work out whats better, as I only either have the orginal to compare or a split second when it changes from previous edit to new, which is not enough time to work out if its a better edit. I would have to save off my previous edit to then compare, this would add so much time to editing than being able to change my slider from original to last edit.
We can definitely see how a previous edit vs. current edit comparison slider would be useful, especially when fine-tuning lighting or making incremental changes. You’re right that relying on the brief visual switch or having to save off intermediate versions can slow down the workflow.
We’ll share this idea with the development team as a feature request for future consideration. Thanks again for taking the time to explain your use case so clearly!
