  1. The bug / behavior you have encountered
    48 hour render 1080P to UHD upscale. my mistake ofc, i had 210gb free and i needed 220gb
  • Note: some space gets freed up when the unfinished files are deleted when a process fails.

so i deleted all that progress. maybe just terminate at 97% done and export that?

I found options in the settings, i’ve had the temp enabled, and that makes you need 2x the space, but still strange it deleted the whole temp files.

Unfortunately, this is expected behavior at this time, but the team is looking at improving this in future updates based on feedback like this.
