A warning to those who are using XYplorer (an alternative to File Explorer on Windows). DO NOT open a photo in Topaz Photo by using the “open with” option in the right-click menu, as that will open an instance of Topaz Photo that replaces the standard “export to” button with one that says “export to XYplorer.” If you press this button, your original image will be overwritten with any changes that you’ve made with no warning. I have no idea why this is even a thing.
It’s presumably the same behaviour as for editing a photo from Lightroom Classic, etc. - though in that case, you’re prompted whether to edit the original or a copy
@bitfidelity - thanks for sharing this! If you wanted, you can add in the Ideas section a request to support XYplorer and other users that use it can vote on it as well. The development team will look into the most popular ideas for implementation!
