Is it possible to set a preferred Upscaling size under the Preferences? I usually crop my images in Capture One to my 16:10 tablet, export them to Photo AI for further processing, Upscale them as the final step and export them back to Capture One.
I usually would like to have them sized with twice of the tablet size which is 1920 x 1200 px, i.e. 2840 x 2400 px. Every time I am going to Upscale there are other x and y values and I have to set the x resolution to 2400 (with the y resolution calculated from the aspect ratio),
I know there are settings for the copilot which I don’t use though.
Topaz Photo AI doesn’t currently allow you to set a fixed preferred upscaling size for example 2840 x 2400 px directly in the Preferences.
While you can customize Autopilot settings under
Edit > Preferences > Autopilot > Upscale and Resize
These settings don’t currently support locking in a specific resolution as a default
That said, you can manually enter your desired dimensions each time, or use the scale factor like 2x if that’s more consistent with your workflow.
Alternatively, as a workaround you, could try Saving a Preset in Photo AI or use an external Application such as Lightroom for batch processing the size you want or create an Action within Photoshop to possibly streamline this process.
In light of that, it’s still a good suggestion why post it as an Idea so, other users can Vote on it
