The Topaz Video AI Dione DV and TV models produce Blocking Staircase Noise Artifacts. The VEAI Dione models did not have this problem. The Dione Dehalo helps with the staircase noise artifacts but is a bit blurry and a little flat. The DIONE TV is pretty good otherwise with a more 3d look. It is my go-to model for DVD’s but in the new Topaz Video Enhance the staircase noise is a deal breaker. If you can retain the current look of the model more or less with straight/sharp deinterlaced lines it would be perfect.
