In case the user decides to cancel processing of an image that has been passed from LR, it would be great if the plugin could translate the CANCEL action into not creating and re-importing a result file in LR.
The file is created by Lightroom BEFORE sending it to the plugin. Once created, it’s there no matter what happens with the plugin processing.

You’re right, Eric. Denoise and Sharpen are controlled via External Editor preset, so all the logic is being handled by LR itself. Photomatix or SNS-HDR (which can handle what I requested) are being controlled via LR plugin.
