I’ve had this problem ever since the Photo AI app was introduced and development for Denoise AI and Sharpen AI stopped. Namely, the denoise and sharpen models in Photo AI are really not that good and seem more like an afterthought.
For example, a lot of times the denoise models sharpen the image when I don’t want them to, even when the “Minor Deblur” slider is all the way down. They also sometimes introduce artifacts like colorful square patches.
I have similar problems with the sharpen models - they introduce unwanted edge artifacts and are not as good as the models in the now abandoned Sharpen AI app.
These are the reasons I almost never use the denoise and sharpen models in Photo AI. If you are unable to introduce better models, is it possible to at least port the old ones from Denoise AI and Sharpen AI over to Photo AI?
