The new ‘split’ view in v2 is really a compare view and is in my view less than effective in seeing the differences than the old bar which you moved in the old split view option, to me it was instantly obvious as to the changes (good or bad) as they were next to the original, please bring this back, or give us the options of [old] split or compare views.

if you read the changelog it actually says they will be restoring it in a later version.
