Stand alone Denoise AI works, but in Studio 2 version 2.0.11 and in Corel Paintshop Pro I get “Error: launch plug-in failure” pop up and then both programs will crash.
Previously I had no problems- I suspect last Studio 2 update messed something up.
Glad I still have Denoise 6 to use.
There is a issue with PSP and it is to do with the way PSP stores plugin information in the My Documents folder, see this thread. I think you may have to get rid of one of the links as, because of how Studio 2 is, the plugins appear in Studio as well as the Program folder for the applications:
Followed directions, got Denoise AI to work in PSP by removing Studio 2 from PSP Plugin file location- PSP has no My PSP folder in My Documents and doesn’t store plug-ins anywhere unless I put them there.
Denoise AI still error and crashes in Studio 2.
Didn’t have these problems until most recent Studio 2 update.
I think I saw another issue that is being worked on where calling DeNoise AI from Studio 2 invokes Sharpen AI. (It happens on my PC, Windows, also)
I think it is still tied up with “ghost” Plugins that PS and AP seem to handle because those don’t have any issues but the combination of PSP & Studio 2 seems to object.
Can you still call the DeNoise AI from the standalone version of Studio?
Denoise AI stand alone is fine, and as I mentioned got Denoise AI to work in PSP by removing Studio 2 from PSP Plugin file location.
Studio 2 Denoise AI crashes program, yet Adjust Ai works fine in Studio 2.
Something wrong with Studio 2 plug-ins- no idea what.
Checked all Topaz Studio2 plugins for ghosts, none. Checked all locations in Windows for ghosts too- App data, Program Data, no duplicates or ghosts.
