I did install a NVIDIA RTX2080 Super GPU in my photo editing PC to speedup my workflow a little bit. (Before i used a NVIDIA GTX 1660 Super without problems.)
We work with Denoise 3.6.2 and Lightroom 6.14 and at the moment it works OK when selecting the CPU as the AI processor.
But when selecting my RTX 2080 Super as the AI processor suddenly my pictures in the STANDARD AI model become very unsharp / very blurry.
Before we used a GTX 1660 and everything worked fine then.
I did try several older GPU Drivers, but without success.
Now running Geforce driver 532.03 (5/24/2023)
Steps to reproduce issue:
In Denoise 3.6.2
File → Preferences → ‘Processing / Save’ → select: AI PRocessor 1:NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER
Is there some bug here related with RTX model GPU’s? before everything worked okay.
Topaz DeNoise AI [v3.6.2] on Windows 10 & Adobe Lightroom 6.14
for AI processor i don’t see the option 'All’ but i can select ‘Auto’.
If i do: there is no difference, the image generated with Standard AI model is still very blurry.
I followed your advice and installed driver NVIDIA Geforce version
528.49 and it solved the problem of my blurry pics.
Before installing i cleaned up the current driver.
These are the exact steps i executed to fix the problem:
I downloaded DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller from guru3d.com)
I restarted my PC in safe mode
I executed DDU to completely cleanup all driver files and registry entries, just to be sure nothing interferes with the drivers i want to install.
Reboot PC in normal mode
install NVidia Geforce 528.49 (Studio driver not game ready driver)
Reboot PC
After these steps my blurry pics under normal AI model are completely gone.
Hope this helps others that are experiencing problems with blurry pics.
