Using VEAI 2.6.4, testing B3. The Dione dehalo model does a great job of calming down the awful pseudo-sharpening halo effects in footage from old not-so-good glass. But it still leaves the chromatic abberation COLOR on the shadow side of the former halo boundary. That’s purple in my case, though CA colour can be green or cyan depending on the glass and which side of the high-contrast edge it’s on.
In a future version, can a choice for CA color correction be included? That would help not only remove the horrible faux-contrast halos, but the purple shadow fringes on my tree branches and wildlife when restoring historical footage.
Cheers
