I often find that de noise works great to remove noise, but also detail, and when using the ‘recover detail’ slide, the effects are reversed. It would help if de noise has a subject filed like the sharpening tool so that the ‘recover detail’ slider only applies to the subject. For example, with this modification I could recover the detail of a bird’s feathers while still having the full benefit of de noise for the background.
