Does anyone use this open source program?

If so, what do you like/dislike about it?

It looks nice and seems to have a fair number of features. I haven’t use it since I use Affinity Photo. I wonder if Darktable allows plugins like Topaz products?

I don’t know. I got Affinity during the holiday sales but only tried it once. If I remember right, it wouldn’t let me keep the photo display feature I use for my PC desktop (incompatible working together) & I didn’t wanna give up that rotating photo wallpaper… I’m always curious to know about new options for when I finally say, “That’s it!” to software subscription models. That I hate!

You only tried Affinity Photo once?

Yeah. When I saw it interfered with how I display my PC’s personal photos wallpaper I stopped trying to learn it & use it.

I’m a diehard-ish Ps user (never use Lr). So that’s my primary post-processing tool. That’s why I’m always so eager to have the Topaz products (incl. GAI) as plugins to Ps. So that, selfishly, I have a straightforward workflow that’s all in Ps and I don’t have to hop around b/wn desktop standalone’s and Ps as a host.
