CURL?

I’m installing Gigapixel 7 and my firewall has blocked installation of software called CURL from curl.haxx.se which is rather alarming give the haxx bit! It’s apparently a library and command-line tool for transferring data using various network protocols.

I just want confirmation from someone there that this is kosher because it has nothing to do with AI or graphics, etc. What is it’s function in Gigapixel?

Curl is a well known Unix/Linux utility. As for why its in gigapixel, my guess is that it’s probably how it will fetch updates from their update server

Seems reasonable, but how does a Linux app run under Windows? Ah, starting to get it, I just saw a bit about cygwin :nerd_face:
