Cropping visualization (the blue rectangular selection GUI) doesn’t match actual cropping region. This is regression as this didn’t happen for old player of TVAI.
observed following >
cropping GUI goes beyond resolution of actual video by up to 15-20 pixels
cropping GUI only goes to lower resolution than resolution of actual video (5-10 pixels less)
As far as i can tell, this is only visual issue of how the blue tool is displayed, as applied cropped area match dimensions specified. However this make it incredibly frustrating if user is setting crop visually using GUI. (as i do)
I have both FullHD monitor and 32:9 DQHD monitor. Issue is present for both.
I tested windowed and fullscreen. Issue is present for both.
Tested standard 16:9 videos and none-standard resolution. Issue is present for both.
Restarted TVAI multiple times. Issue persist.
Zooming out or in make no difference. In both cases it doesn’t match.
“reset crop” make no difference. Visualization is wrong from the start without any user input of changing crop area.
I would guess this is some issue of scaling as it seems more accurate in center and way off closer you get to edge of video. But thats only my guess…
OS > Microsoft Windows 10 Home

As i only mentioned it to @kyle.topazlabs in PM, i will write it here as well. I am not sure if this is a direct culprit or just a side-effect of the issue but the “movable divider” between timeline and render queue definitely have influence on incorrect scaling of crop GUI. If you move it up or down without changing crop region the offset of crop GUI will drastically change. With no UI “reset” in TVAI so to speak i don’t know if there is any sweet spot were it would be correct.
IF the positioning of this divider get reset-ed after TVAI restart, then its wrong even in default position. (even when running TVAI in fullscreen FullHD)
