I am encountering crashes of the app, rather randomly, but mostly during starting the preview or during the preview. Logs and system profile attached.

same issue on 13.6.2 with Video AI 4.0.7 … crashes during previews.

lately i added “libdvdcss” to enable ripping of old DVD´s with handbrake … don´t belive that this lib causes the crashes … but just to make sure. Video AI is currently not usable. Tried mp.4, mkv, mov, vob … generating multiple previews seems to work but looking to the preview results will crash with:

Problem not solved with 4.0.8, still getting the App crashes, same Exception Code which ralf stated
oh … too bad to hear that … hoped that this issue have been solved … so i don´t have to waste time trying 4.0.8 concerning this case … is it possible to downgrade to the initial 4.x version? I´ve been new to the software when vers. 4 came out. At that Time i had no serious problems. best regards Ralf
I now reverted to 4.04, which runs perfectly and rock stable. So it definitively has to do with the new preview functions. Both versions are in my app folder, so I can flip over if needed.

As a Mac user I’d suggest even reverting to the 3.5.4 version if you don’t need Iris V2 and nyx.
Working previews, stable and overall faster.
Seems as if MacOS development mostly has come to a halt the last months.
Hi Guys, has anyone experiences with latest updates due to crashing during previews? i´m still using 4.04 … rock solid … so far i don´t miss anything … must confess that i did not try the updates in between, too scared that the same problem is not solved and/or new problems comes up … thx in advance & best regards Ralf

I can confirm by now that Version 4.1.1 has fixed the preview crash for me, it didn´t occur any more! Thanks to the team!
Seemed to be working better with 4.1.1 for me but I just experienced a crash during doing a preview so it doesn’t look like it has been fixed yet.
