See someone else is having this issue. My computer was away for a bit getting repaired. After receiving it, installed all updates to bring me to V.2.2.1.
I’m seeing the same issue. Each day I open I get the “Some model files need to be re-downloaded before images can be processed” message. This wouldn’t be so bad if the downloads were fast. But they take anywhere from 10 to over 30 minutes. I’m on Starlink and our download speeds, although variable, typically run between 20-60 Mbps/sec.
This is absurd!
Why should model files need constant downloading? Once downloaded they should stay put. Definitely a major bug in the program. And the speed is tortuously slow. When I updated to V.2.2.1, it only took 10 minutes.
