Constant Crashing while rendering

I need some help to figure out what is happening with the app. Currently I am getting constant crash and shut down while rendering files. This happen after I update the app to version 5.
It’s either:
-App crash

  • App not showing up but still running in task manager
  • PC Crash

This does not happen before with all update of version 4. Even when I tried to freshly reinstall my OS it still occur.
It happen with any output files setting or Enhancing settings.
Note that the files I am running was running normally back with TVAI 4.

Also now when I revert the program back to 4.2.2 it doesnt run the files anymore.

Might need to check the CPU manufacturer for a BIOS update since you have the 14900k CPU that a lot of folks are seeing issues with.

From the Video AI side, the errors are showing as memory errors with the GPU being overwhelmed by the AI process, can try setting a max memory % limit in the preferences to see if that helps stabilize it.

Hey Kyle,

Thanks for the information.
I did update the mobo to the latest version and reduce GPU memory limit to 50%.
The program seem to be holding for now.

I will update if anything else happen.

Please tell us more about your hardware. Intel recently confirmed issues with te 13th and 14th generation of processors. This might cause applicataions like Video AI crash. As a temporary workaround limit the ICCmax of your 13900/14900 CPU to 307A and the maximum PCore frequency to 5,3 Ghz.

Hey Imo,

Currently I am using:
Intel® Core™ i9 14900KF
Z790 Gigabyte Aorus Master
Gigabyte NVIDIA RTX 4090
32GB DDR5 7200Mhz G skill

Yeah I was setting my CPU rate to 5.0Ghz with the RAM to 4800Mhz. It was running fine for a while until i got the Video AI update 5.1 I think. Then it just completely random crashing.

I was either get the error IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL, WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR or PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA. With the dumpfile either pointing ffmpeg, intelgenuine.sys or some nvidia drivers.
