I’ve gotten lots of crashes in general since installing, but since the last update it’s nearly unusable. Macbook Pro running Tahoe 26.5.1. M4 chip. 24GB memory. The live-view preview seems to be the main culprit, as it will instantly crash when activating it. Tried all sorts of workflow changes, but it just vanishes as soon as I toggle that switch. Can’t use it if I can’t see what my video upscaling results are going to do.
You can run short 1-second or 2-second previews that should work if the live-preview frame option is causing errors. That feature is still being tweaked by the team at this time, as it is trying to always run in the background which can take over memory resources and cause errors.
