Color Shift with OM1

There is a notable colour shift in the DNG from Photo AI upon importing back into Lr (Cloud), compared to the original .ORF. To match the DNG back to the original ORF, I must dial in the following under Lr > Edit > Color: Temp: -500; Tint: +8; Vibrance: -14
I’m happy to share jpegs showing this, but there is not facility to upload samples.
NOTE: When in Lr and choosing Edit in . . . > Topaz Photo AI (thus producing a tif), there is no colour shift in the resulting tiff from Photo AI.
Understandably, I would prefer to work with DNG files from Photo AI, so the colour shift, while manageable, is an apparent bug.

Steps to reproduce issue:

  1. In Lr, select the Share icon in the top right > Original (Original + Settings) and export to a folder
2.In Photo AI, Add Image and navigate to the exported image
  2. In Photo AI, perform Raw Denoise, Sharpening and Upscaling 2x
  3. Export DNG to original folder
  4. Bring back into Lr

If you can take a screen recording of this behavior so I can see exactly what is happening, it will be helpful to ensure that we can replicate the workflow you are using to investigate.

Loom is a great free application for this: Loom | Free Screen & Video Recording

Please be sure to send me a note to let me know you sent something.

Hi John,

Thanks for your response. I have uploaded the requested files to DropBox, as requested, including a Loom mp4.

Hope this help.
