Was the bug forcing the color range to full via NVENC ever fixed?
The 16-235 tonemap set to 0-255 is only fun for a few minutes, especially when you don’t want it… Since FFmpeg is a hack, maybe the -color_range tv setting has been thrown away?

In the Input settings menu are you leaving the color range set to automatic for the app to read and decide or swapping it to limited or full?

Whatever input settings is selected Unknown(Auto), Limited(Auto), Limited ← forcedcase, I’ve got a Full range color using H.265
This does not occur using FFV1
