The default of Chronos v3 on handling scene detections is to fade between them. There should be an option to allow duplication of frames instead as it creates cleaner transitions and stays true to the source video.

I second this, I’ve been waiting for months and reading every version changelog for a long time now waiting for this function to be added, I’ve had to use other software that handles scene changes/cuts more cleanly (by just fully cutting to the next frame instead of some kind of fade). Also I have to use other software for my scene change needs to scene transitions (but not full frame scene cuts) are cleaner and look proper, instead of chronos, chronos fast, and apollo which all produce a degree of warping and/or artifacting in the output due to the scene change threshold set by the program.
