CHF3 Codec being forced in bulk upscaling

Hi all!

Following problem:

when bulk upscaling MP4 h265 videos in Topaz with the proteus codec on mac, Topaz randomly selects an additional codec (Chronos fast - CHF3) and adds them to a few videos.

The result is extremly laggy videos which dont differ in resolution but in my case in Lipsynch and overall quality.

I cannot find a way to switch it off and it is quite annoying when editing 10s or 100s of videos, as i dont want to pull each file individually. This only happens when exporting in Bulk.

any Ideas?

And while I am here: Why does Topaz keep crashing, when I use over 50 Videos to upscale?

Specs: Most powerful macStudio there was available, so its not a performance issue…

Sounds like one or more of the files in the bulk processing batch has a different frame rate than the others and the app is adding frame interpolation to have them all match and export out at the same frame rate.
