Changing Frame Rate and Stabilzation Crashes System

When I try doing a Frame Rate increase (30fps to 60fps) whether upscaling or not, and Stabilization (Full-Frame) the system will crash during Export. When Frame Rate or Stabilization are done individually, then it completes the export. The video shows non-interlaced progressive according to MediaInfo – no scan-type shown (see attached).

Other settings:

  • Frame Interpolation: Chronos / no slow motion
  • Enhancement: Progressive / Proteus Fine-Tune Enhance / Auto Parameters

I don’t know if this is by design to not be able to do both in the same pass, and if it is, the interface should not allow both to be set together.

This is occurring because too many filters are being utilized at once and your machine’s resources are being exceeded.

The CPU you are using is quite old and will not be a good fit for this app. This combined with a lower amount of RAM is leading to the crash you are experiencing.

I would recommend limiting the number of parallel tasks and limiting filter usage to one per pass.
