I am getting the following error when trying to activate Gigapixel 7 on the Mac. The browser opens and quickly shows activation successful but then this error appears.
I am on a mac managed by my employer and cant deactivate or change any firewall and anti virus settings, they are managed through external policy.
What is the work around here?
Many thanks
Janis
Without being able to add exceptions, I do not believe that there will be a way around this.
If you are able to work with your IT team, you can share the following with them:
Ports: 80 and 443
Make sure that the following have access to the network
login.exe
ffmpeg.exe
Also you will need to whitelist the following URLs, http and https for each:
api.topaz-labs.net
topazlabs.com
downloads.topazlabs.com
models.topazlabs.com
Thanks for the info, unfortunately they don’t do it. If there is no other way than changing firewall rules I will probably not be able to use the software then.
Weirdly all your competitor products from DXO, Photomator and Lightroom work without issue

Having exactly the same issue. This seems like such a huge oversight. Why can’t you activate using a key or by other means? My company has firewall in place but Adobe products and all other third-party editing software we use work fine.
