Hi! So, I have two RTX 3090s, the primary GPU 0 and secondary GPU 1. Of course, there’s a setting found in Preferences > Application > Processing and this is where I can choose the AI processor. There’s Auto, CPU, RTX 3090 (GPU 0), and RTX 3090 (GPU 1). The GPU selection works fine, including GPU 1 (aka 2nd GPU) when using any other model, including Proteus, Iris, Rhea, etc. But, when it comes to Starlight Mini, it always uses GPU 0 regardless of the setting, even if I set it to use GPU 1. I believe that it is a bug. Can you please fix it? I have another application that isn’t capable of using GPU selection, so it would be nice if that bug is fixed in Video AI.
You can use both GPUs for Starlight
Nvidia Control Panel > 3D Settings > CUDA - GPUs
Select GPU 1 and start processing video 1
Select GPU 2 and start processing video 2
Now you have 2 instances of Starlight c:
I actually tried that before I posted my issue here, but I haven’t mentioned it here until now. I tried to set GPU 1 and GPU 2 each as CUDA in the Nvidia Control Panel, but it always uses GPU 1 no matter what I do. I’m not sure if I’m doing something wrong there.
Can you send the logs from the app where you have set the AI processor to the second GPU and tried running Starlight Mini so we can have the team take a look as to why the preferences setting is not being held? help@topazlabs.com

Sure, here are the logs, I grabbed them after each upscaling test. I have 4 different logs, including running Rhea separately on GPU 1 and GPU 2, restarted the program on each setting change and same for Starlight Mini, separately on GPU 1 and GPU 2. Interesting enough, on GPU 2 setting, running Rhea 1 utilized GPU 2, but without closing the program and immediately run Starlight Mini, it right away use GPU 1 for some reason. Hope this log helps.
