Can't start Photo AI

Purchased, downloaded and installed on Windows.
When I run the app, it displays a ‘new features’ video that I can’t get rid of. Can’t close the window, can’t access the app (or close it), the video seems to play forever. How do I get past this??

After quite a while, ‘new features’ goes away and I get the ‘activation’ window. However, when I click ‘Activate’, nothing happens. The window has been sitting there for several minutes now. (Topaz is using virtually no CPU or memory, almost nothing else is running (total CPU is 6%).

Interestingly, the Topaz window’s title bar is empty and transparent.

After an hour, I was able to activate. However, anything I try to do in the app, like open a photo, takes ‘forever’.

Left Topaz on all night. Picture I edited did not (and still does not) save. I can close the app, but I have to click in the transparent window title bar.

OK, this is weird. I can save my edited image but I have to click about 1/4" above the button displayed on the screen. This seems to apply to all controls in the app., including selecting menu items. (Does not happen any any other app, have never seen this before before on this or any other computer I own.)

Uploaded.
Note that the app appears to work fine, now that I’ve discovered the ‘cursor offset’ problem. I.e., I can open files, denoise, save, etc. I’m pretty sure this is not a ‘hardware problem’. Do you want a screenshot?
