When you try to click “Create new preset…” then nothing happens. No input windows or something else.
Thanks Alex. This happens on my Macs too so definitely a new bug in the Mac version of 5.5.
I just tried on Windows and that version doesn’t have this bug.
WARNING to other Mac users wanting to revert to a previous version - use the PKG download rather than DMG. If you use the DMG method to copy the app, any presets you’ve previously created will be lost. This is due to the flawed design by Topaz to store user’s presets inside the app folder for the Mac version. Topaz have refused to admit there is anything wrong with this approach so I wouldn’t hold my breath for them to correct that.

Can you send your system profile and the logs to the support team for further investigation? Trying to replicate on our end as well.

To gather logs, please select Help > Logging > Get Logs for Support and attach the zip file to your reply.

Reverting back to 5.4 (using the PKG download) then updating to 5.5 appears to have solved the problem.
I noticed that the TVAI logging mechanism seems to have an exceedingly short lifespan of only 7 application startups, regardless of the overall time span. So absolutely useless in this case (and many others, I expect) as there are now no logs for the time I previously had v5.5 installed which exhibited the presets problem.
