The bug / behavior you have encountered
I am attempting to update from my current version 3.3.0 to the latest 3.3.3. The installer downloads, begins the process and then fails with the message in the attached screenshot. (By way of explanation, D:\ is my default Programs HDD).
Your system profile
Win 10 Pro, 22H2, i7 6700k, 32 GB Ram, NVidia GTX 1660 Ti. More than 5TB of hard drive space.

The app is and always has been installed on D:, this is not a new install! Any suggestions on how to check permissions? And, perhaps more importantly, how to change them??
As I wrote before, D:\ is my default programs drive.
Unfortunately that article doesn’t help, sorry to say!
It refers to drives formatted to FAT, my drives are all NTFS.
EDIT, to add: When I check Windows Reliability Monitor I see each attempted install produces error code 1603, if anyone reading this has any suggestions for resolving this!
FURTHER EDIT: I was able to finally resolve this by downloading the full installer for Topaz Video AI, version 3.3.3 and running it. No problems encountered and I now am running that version!
