CANNOT save non raw as dng

From LRC, I select to process in Topaz, make adjustments, then after spending all that time, get the error message

Steps to reproduce issue:

1. Step 1: LRC - EDIT - Plugin Extra- Process in Topaz.ai
2. Step 2: Make Edits in Topaz
3. Step 3: Save - get error

If the image selected for edit in Topaz isn’t compatible (it shows that it is a DNG), then it shouldn’t be able to be processed. Taking my time to make edits and then loosing them all - UNACCEPTABLE.

Additionally, where is the logging for Topaz to show the net changes (change log/recipe) for the edits made. In the example at hand, after I figure out why Topaz can’t save the file - I should be able to re-apply the steps/recipe without guessing if I did it the same as prior to the error.

It isn’t a RAW file that is why it is processed and overwritten, use Edit in and send a TIFF if you don’t want the original overwritten.

Every file passed when used as a plugin is overwritten unless it is a RAW file.
