if i buy topaz video without upgrades that means that i have the purchase forever ? or i need to pay to keep using it ?
This is been on my mind lately beacuse i want to buy it this holidays
so if i buy any topaz program without upgrades it means that i have it forever in this version? or i need keep paying to use the topaz programs?

Yes, you can use the application forever. But you don’t get any updates after a year if you don’t extend your license.

If it’s the same as Photo AI, which I assume it is, you get a year of free upgrades. When the year expires you can choose to renew or not. If you don’t renew you can continue to use the verso you have without further payment.
For example, my subscription to TPAI expires in a few days, Dec 23, and I probably won’t renew. I currently have v.3.3.3. However, v.3.4.0 is currently in beta. If it is released before Dec 23, I will be able to access it. If not, not.
The app licenses are good for lifetime access to the app in the version that you purchase it in.
The initial purchase also comes with one year of upgrade coverage for the app that will allow you to use any new version of the app that we release in that time frame.
After that initial year ends, you can purchase an upgrade renewal plan from the store if you want to. This is not required though and you can continue to use the last version available to you before your plan expired.
There is also an option to enroll your apps in the auto-renewal plan which will lock in the lowest price for each years upgrade plan renewal if you want to do so.
