Okay, if you turn off all the “convenience options” in TopazVideo, at least it doesn’t delete the rendered file.
But you have to finalize it yourself, for example using BandiCut, which has worked fine so far, but gets annoying in the long run, and can easily take a quarter of an hour or half an hour when dealing with several hundred gigabytes.
When will there be a solution?
My inquiry is now two months old, the problem is, in my opinion, truly critical, and yet the thread is being closed?
The forum automatically closes a topic after 2 months if there is not a new comment or update. That does not mean the topic is closed, or that the issue is not on the devs punch list. This is still on their list and the support team is continuing to bring it up at meetings for an update.
The support team is working on getting updates from the devs and we have linked the forum post threads to our internal tracking system. We are doing our best to come back and update as we get confirmation on issues being patched and rolled out into releases. We have also requested that the devs and product managers for all the apps include notes in the changelogs for new releases that directly mention specific issues that are resolved for clarity for users.
