Since 2.3 my removal tool is broken. When I try to paint I get nothing and when I try and use “subject detect” nothing happens. I get the cross hairs for selecting object removal but nothing happens when I left clock and when I try and paint over an object to remove I see the “circle” but nothing happens when I try to paint?

Thanks Jeff. I’ll wait for the update unless I need to use the tool in the next few days. It’s pretty frustrating though because now when I click on removal tool the I have to shutdown the app because it freezes.
I have updated to 2.3 and the Removal Tool is still broke on my Windows 11 machine. I don’t want to revert back but I may try deleting and reloading. I either get an hourglass and I have to shut down the app, or when I don’t get the hourglass the brush or subject tools just don’t work.
We also have an update coming out tomorrow that may resolve the issue, keep an eye out for that
Didn’t work Jeff. Just updated to 2.3.1 and the object remove just doesn’t work. The brush doesn’t more the object select. After a second try I had to force close the app because it locked up. I’m using Windows 11 as a standalone.
The developers have mentioned that they are still working on that tool, as of right now it is still in beta
You responded to me 21 days ago and the removal tool is still broken as is face detection. This program is broken and is only getting worse. It’s a shame.
