In today’s camera, including phone camera, the light taken in photos are quite alright. The current adjustment always make it too bright in most example photos tried. I think TOPAZ should try to adjust to over & under exposure area instead of the whole photo.
People who bought the version 2 will be quite disappointed with this feature.
I like the idea of AI dealing with lighting issues, but it currently doesn’t feel like it has much AI “magic” in it. It’s clearly labeled “beta” in the app, so I am optimistic that it will improve with future updates.
Our exposure models are actually designed to treat specific areas of the photo which is what makes it different from generic editors that treat the whole photo. It’s still in beta though, and we’re continuously trying to improve it based on user feedback.
