Hello Forum,
Not long ago, I imported a BRAW file (Blackmagic 12K Ursa) into Topaz Video AI. I was able to denoise and sharpen it. I was gobsmacked at the tremendous improvement.
THIS WAS FANTASTIC and a GAME CHANGER. I loved it.
BUT, today, I upgraded to the latest version and it no longer wants to import BRAW.
What is going on? Very frustrating to go from heaven to hell.

Hello,
BRAW files are not currently supported in Video AI, so I’d recommend using a high-quality format like ProRes for working with Video AI.

Are there plans to support it in the near future? Its a little curious how the marketing is for cinematic denoise and plans for a Davinci Resolve OFX but braw is not supported

I’d very much want BRAW support. |s there any chance of bringing it in?
Not ideal, I know, but if you were willing and able to use the command line:
If there (still) exists an ffmpeg version anywhere which supports BRAW, then it’s possible to use two ffmpeg instances together, using pipes. So you could use the BRAW supported ffmpeg to convert to ffmpeg’s own “raw” data and pipe it to the Topaz ffmpeg for upscaling and / or other processing. Otherwise, perhaps find some other CLI tool which can convert from BRAW to another uncompressed format for input to ffmpeg.
