Yesterday, I posted the Line & Ink IV version of this photograph. (“Painterly Version of a Favorite Scene”) Someone on Facebook suggested that I blend it with the original photograph. This is that “blended” version. I was reminded once again that it is not only either/or; there are always multiple options for what we might try. I also was reminded to always be open to suggestions from others. Ultimately, of course, we need to each try to create work that is faithful to who we are and to our own vision.
