This has been reported many times. Hopefully, the next version will resolve.
This is an issue we are currently investigating and seems to only happen when both the Sharpen Standard model and Remove Noise feature are used together.
Can you try to disable one or the other and this issue should be resolved.
We are working on a fix for this issue but in the meantime please let me know if that works for you with these images.
After using Photo AI there is a black line on the subject.
I experienced the black stripe issue for the first time today using Photo AI. I see that I’m not the only one who has experienced this issue. It is occurring on a TIF file when Photo AI automatically chose to sharpen and denoise the photo. Changing the Sharpening AI Model or moving the strength slider eliminates the stripe. When I change the model or the slider back to its original position, the stripe does not return.
I updated Photo AI to 2.2.1 and that did not resolve the issue. I also rebooted my Windows 11 laptop, but that didn’t help either.
Note the black stripe on the dog’s tail.

- Step 1 - Do Lightroom Classic adjustments prior to editing in PhotoAI
- Step 2 - Edit in Photo AI adjusting for both Noise and Sharpening
- Step 3 - Save edits back to LRC
