Been experimenting very little so far with the Removal tool, but from what I can see it sure looks promising, but there are also signs - from different forum posts - that the tool is a bit “tempramental” with regards to the outcome.
So - fearing that any question question/discussion with tips & tricks for getting the best out of the tool will become forgotten once any “release thread” gets closed and superseeded by the next update I thought I’d try to start a separate thread.
With that said - are there any recommendations to be shared on the subject? Me for example would really appreciate some insight on the “padding” slider, as my first thought was "keep it from “bleeding” out of what you want remove as much as possible, but then I read somewhere that it’s good to give a bit more padding so the tools get a better understanding of what to put there to replace what it removes. Is this correct?
Any other ideas/experiences you guys are willing to share on the tool? (Or maybe there’s no interest at all in this kind of threa… what do I know?)
