Is it correct you cannot batch process anymore unless you pay over and above your yearly subscription for cloud storage?
you mean local rendering or cloud rendering?
Locally I batch without a problem or extra costs. for cloud, I have no idea, I am not using this feature.
I’m wondering if you’ve been misled by the changes to the buttons that Topaz introduced in v5.5. At first, I was too, and evidently others as well. The previous button with “Quick export” is now the button without text in the bottom right corner.
“Quick export” can still also be done via the menu or the same keyboard shortcut as before.

I’ll take a look, ATM the old Quick export button has changed to Cloud which talks about “credits” being required.c
