The balancing color feature works very well. But from my perspective, a photograph will often have areas where it would be better to not apply this feature. In my case, it improved part of my photo but reduce the quality of another part.
Suggestion: Allow the use to define a portion of the photo where balancing color should be applied. This could be done with a rectangular box, similar to the one used in Photoshop for cropping an image.
